Synchronistic. Your new pod name is coincidental with the article of Son of Mercury on his substack entitled: "How to Constellate(Part 1)" This year will be most memorable indeed, but only for all of us still in the body by the next. Carpe diem!

Very nice! Constellate syncs. How do we constellate? That is the question.

As a lover of alliteration, I'm aligned with your artful new moniker!

I suppose my Trickster dirty brain does get a chuckle out of turning it into "Constipated Constellations" but, hey, if we can't get dirty with the Trickster in these Mercurial times, what are we doing here?

On a more serious note, any thoughts on the Moon in early Leo being opposite to Pluto in early Aquarius? That one stood out to me when I did my write-up for the month, something like the People/Body Politic finding their unique Voice to stand out from the Borg-like tendencies of the Aquarian Shadow and Power aligning itself with that ugly ol' Borg.

I think you are spending too much time in those Japaense public toilets my friend. No idea where you get that from. Perhaps contemplating Pluto oppositions for longer than is needed? That's my answer =)

There's definitely a downside to camping out in toilets! I'll have to remember that.

Anyway, I appreciate the feedback--I probably did give/am giving too much attention to Pluto oppositions so maybe it's high time I reduce that bugger down to size ... in my mind, if nowhere else!

In my defense, I hadn't seen this year-ahead forecast from astrologer Susan Hopkinson when I wrote my article, but she seems to be hinting at similar themes with that 2nd House Pluto in Aquarius opposite 8th House Moon in Leo. But perhaps ol' Susan has her own stinky neck of the woods she hangs in.

In all seriousness, she did a video on the astrology of Julian Assange several weeks ago that not only suggested to me she knows her astrology, but she's also pretty darn up to date on her current events and has, IMHO, a very heart-centered perspective on them....so much so that I'm reasonably sure YTube's algorithm knocked her video out of sight because I had found it on my first search for "Astrology of Assange" one night and the next day I did the same search and couldn't find it, despite having watched most of it!).

it's not that the Pluto/Moon opposition isn't a huge feature of the year, it is, I was just poking at your dirty toilet humor to my new name. Interesting about Susan. Down ranking is real. See it everywhere. And it's terrifying.

It’s funny how when I read your response, my brain first connected it to my joke about the new name but then focused in on the Pluto/Moon feature.

I had to overcome some imposter syndrome to post my article since I’m still only five years into my astrological studies and, well, I think I remember hearing a podcast you did (or maybe a piece you wrote) some time ago about treating the ancient tradition of astrology seriously, not talking without getting grounded in it as too many seem to do. Perhaps it’s all of my Capricorn energy that really resonated with that, so I really did debate about whether to publicly post an article but ultimately landed on tapping into the courage of Aries Season and the north node in Aries to go for it.

Obviously, the fact I skipped past my correct interpretation about your comment having fun with my joke speaks to me still having some work to do in this area—but hey, I got Chiron in Aries in the 10th House, so I’ll probably always have that wound relating to finding confidence in my work in the world.

Ultimately, this was a good lesson for me!!

Well that's good to hear. And I think it's fine to put yourself out there as soon as the desire arrives, just as long you are honest about where you are at. When I started the pod in 09' it was called Exploring Astrology because I was doing just that. I wasn't an astrologer exactly yet. That happened over time and definitely sooner than 5 years. Sounds like you are ready to me. Let the people decide.

"It's not an easy task to explain the energies of the year through a chart. I suppose I'm barely even trying. I'm just pointing—a finger at the Moon."

Felt that. Thank you for being an example of how we can show up with our writing and interpreting and explaining and it still be meaningful and impactful without trying to hard, lol.

well, it's not out of laziness; it's more in knowing that it's not possible—especially in a single Substack piece.

Excellent name for the podcast. Constellating has its own magic and a successful longevity with the established curriculum of valuable classes, cosmos is encompassing for the breadth of exploration

OMG Adam! You have me hooting and hollering over here! "There are no solutions, only trade-offs. We can't be Luddites, nor is it the move to slap on the Vision Pro for a first date." hahahahahahahahahahahahah AND this doozy "To "build back better" we glance at Saturn (chart ruler) who we find in Pisces at a similar degree (12º not 11º) thus creating a sextile from the 3rd house. It points to the seemingly impossible task of clear communication and trust in information currently." great stuff! It's vibing "ANYTHING GOES" Also, on a side note, are you aware of the art exhibit Roden Crater opening in Arizona soon? (which is not exactly near the border but close enough)

hoooting and hollering!!! Perfect. Love to hear it. And I'm not familiar with this artist, no. Should I be?

I may or may not now splap on a Vision Pro for a first date to gauge the humor and satire spectrum of my potential life partner ;) Yes, I would definitely follow the progress of Roden Crater! It is our modern Stonehedge/Gobekli Tepe

Kate you just reminded me I have a Note on my phone that says simply: “Roden Crater AZ : dark skies”

Someone told me to go there once and I took note but that’s as far as I got. Art exhibit? I’m going to look into it

Well they claim it's an "art exhibit" but that is up for debate. Sure looks like a brand new star mapping volcanic ash temple for our modern era 😉✨😉It is not open yet, but when it is, I am there!

I really like this piece and your version of an Aries ingress chart study... Much better than predictions - more room for the symbols to come alive and speak their truths over time.

Ha! This was wonderful Adam!! Im super glad I had that reading today and then read this afterwards🤩!! Your words and artwork also reminded me of the dream I woke up to the day of the equinox. There was a giant prehistoric looking mountain lion in it and chasing us but the thing that stuck out the most was its grumpy looking face which looked just like the blobfish face. Makes total sense now🤣
