Hi Adam - As you well know, I've given a lot of thought to the Leo Venus cycle in my personal life and totally agree with you that the inners often provide more relatable context for our personal lives. I'm curious about this comment though: "If you had known the TRUMP coin was going to go 10,000x in one day, you would have put all you had into it—or with Bitcoin or ‘the one who got away’ or fill in the black of one of your missed opportunities." Don't you think this also relates to Venus-Saturn in terms of our values and willingness to live by them? Personally, I disagree with this statement. I wouldn't have put all I had into many things including T coin if I'd known. It goes against my values. Don't you think that this is part of the challenge of these times - to align our values with our actions? And don't you think that is part of the ask of Venus-Saturn in Pisces?
sure it does, it relates to the risk/reward analysis. Values are at the center of that. TRUMP coin was a joke, but the other examples are not. Yet, it's still a good thought experiment to run through: if you actually knew what was going to happen, if you could multiply your savings by 10,000x in one afternoon, would you really not do it? Just because it's a meme associated with a man you despise? It's interesting to ponder.....
Some would think I’m foolish, and I’ve been called that before, but no. I would not. I’ve made such decisions about what I’ll invest in before (obviously without foreknowledge of what would happen in the market) and I’ve given specific instructions about certain companies and industries that I won’t invest in because I don’t want my money going to support what they’re doing in the world. I don’t know trump so I can’t despise him as a person, but I do despise his behavior and what he supports and inspires and wouldn’t want a dime of my money going towards it even if it returned me 10,000 in return.
Adam, I've missed reading your posts. Substack's app became a wee bit too intense for me, so it's back to brows(er)ing. I wonder if that has something to do with the astro quality of this time.
As a Venus in Pisces person (and a Leo rising) this one seems to have struck quite the chord, maybe it's the Chandra symbol (born in Australia and was close friends with a Wallaby growing up, her name was Alice, we followed each other around a lot out bush).
I kept hearing Audentes fortuna iuvat or "fortune favors the bold" as I read this. Over and over again. I've been told I've been courageous in my time, perhaps in some ways, however I am feeling this one stirring deeper, more hidden inner truths, requiring even more of me to cast off from whatever shores of safety I cling to and sail into the unknown.
welcome back! Now, was it Substack as a whole, or what I was writing on there? =) And yes, "fortune favors the bold"-esp for those with Venus in the 8th being met by the two. I love that image of you and Alice in the bush. We don't get such chances in the US when we are kids haha
Not your writing! I have so many lovely Substack posts to catch up on, yours included.
It was the 'feed' on the app itself, the algorithm sending me so much chatter, it felt like other forms of social media - calling my attention towards the screen, trying to hook me into the candied breadcrumbs and drama. No thanks. I'm here for curated thought, essays, and long-form writing. I think it will stay that way, for now.
I just read the most recent investment update by the founders of Substack, where they clearly state they are making a concerted effort to include more 'social' aspects while still honoring it as a platform for writers.
As for Alice - yes, she was such a gentle spirit, and definitely an antipodean experience, but even rare for there, you have to be in the countryside and regularly to become friends with a Wallaby :-)
This left me with some interesting things to consider. Maui is enmeshed with my life. It was a literal home once and is still a spiritual home. While I wasn’t there, the Lahaina fire touched me in a way and it consumed the location where I was married. The LA fires have wiped out my daughter’s school and the entire community surrounding it. I have Leo in the 12th house. I’m contemplating the connections.
a fellow Virgo rising then....=) And what are the chances? My goodness. As you know, the 12th has much to do with loss, but it's also blindspots, hidden enemies, and where we become intimate with Soul. Some my food for the thoughts. My heart goes out to you and these losses. So tragic. =(

Thank you, Adam. I have a fondness for the 12th house despite some of the harder aspects of it. I’m at home there anyway. And so is my Saturn ;)
