"The process of individuation, facilitated by Chiron's influence, involves breaking free from the role of victim and taking responsibility for one's own life and healing."
-Liz Greene
It’s time for the final pass. Tomorrow, Chiron will make its last visit to the natal Chiron position in the USA (Sibley chart). The first was on April 21st of last year, a day when Biden signed the Protecting Americans from Foreign Adversary Controlled Applications Act, mandating that ByteDance sell TikTok to an American company within nine months or face a U.S. ban; the 2nd was the week of the election and also when I wrote my first piece on the subject (here); and now here we are, again. One doesn’t have to live in the US to be affected by such a transit. So much of what is going on in the West is exported from the “land of the free.”
In the context of still being in the wake of the Pluto return for the “most powerful” country in the world, what Chiron seems to bring to the fore is healing-yes-but also how well we are dealing with themes around victimization. There is no better role model within the Greek pantheon to look to for how to navigate this.
Born without his parents around, there is no evidence of Chiron ever playing out the story of being a victim of his circumstances. Being the world’s first centaur and not exactly fitting in, there is no good example of him complaining about not being accepted or needing safe spaces to exist. In fact, all we see are inspirational stories of how Chiron worked with the cards he was given. He turned to the skies and Artemis and Apollo met him halfway, teaching him what he needed to know to survive. He turned to the earth and learned to listen to the plants and animals, allowing him to not just survive, but thrive. Chiron’s story is not a victim’s tale; in fact, it’s a victory tale—one that should inspire us all to accept our circumstances and to heal from those unique coordinates we find ourselves in.
Now, for the country, it’s a bit harder to understand, but there are signs within the culture. There are myriad examples of where people are unwilling to accept certain realities and we suffer because of it. We feel righteous because we think we have the right information, and everyone who doesn’t agree with the opinions we have gathered is the enemy. We feel vindicated because the experience we have online validates our feelings, but we forget that hidden algo’s have also crafted this perspective for us, keeping us trapped in the chamber. We are afraid to go places where we may encounter the opposition because they are just so wrong that we cannot even think to insert ourselves there. It’s a terrible state, yet it’s a perfect state to be in for some Chiron medicine. If we spot it, it’s possible that we’ve got it.
…Oh dear god, look, there’s Elon doing the sieg heil, but wait one second, look over there, isn’t that AOC doing it too? (and let’s be honest: neither of them were doing it); Oh, I can’t with Trump, he’s just a conman and fascist, but again, what a minute, what the hell was on that laptop? RFK is going to kill us all by taking away vital medications, but why then was Fauci pardoned in the 11th hour by the old man? I think you get the idea….(or maybe not)
If we get stuck in this wicked loop, we are doomed. It brings no happiness. It resolves nothing. All it seems to do is divide us more. If Chiron is truly the ‘wounded healer’ then it implies we are all wounded in some way, and it also gives hope to the possibility of healing. Until we can steelman the arguments of the other side and just let it go, we are forever stuck in the doom loop. There is no moving on. There is no healing. Again, this is a Return for the US, but it’s a theme that resonates all throughout the West. It’s a problem, and here lies the opportunity to solve it.
For myself, what is the wildest part of this quagmire is that even speaking like this about it makes me the enemy. Because I’m not loyal to either side, I cannot be trusted. It was very apparent last time I wrote on this subject. People just can’t seem to handle a perspective not loyal to their talking points. How did we get here? What is the way out? I contend, that Chiron’s example is a perfect starting point.
Chiron did not live in the city. He was not a politician or pundit. He lived in a cave at the edge of things. Kings and Queens and Gods alike brought their children to him to be educated properly—and to help them meet their destinies. I doubt he ever had an interest in tweeting his opinions. He simply dealt with what was real and acted as a mirror for those who needed to see themselves clearly. He knew that politics was simply the entertainment branch of the military-industrial complex (tip of the hat to Zappa).
There is a mastery waiting for us all in the heart of the Chiron work. He helps us to remember. It is my prayer that we do remember. I hope that this final Chiron Return ushers in at least an opening for profound healing to occur—not just in the US, but around the world. It is also my prayer that we realize what an absolute waste of time it is to argue with “people” on the internet. Again, let’s learn to talk again—in person—with those who don’t see what we see. Isn’t that part of the point? Iron sharpening iron? We. shall. see. For me, I will continue to use Chiron as one of my role models, not some suit in Washington. I hope you can do the same.
Happy Chiron Return America!
ps. Well done with those Canadians on the ice. What a game!

Love it Adam. And no, those of us who aren’t on a side aren’t the enemy. And those who act too much as victims are missing the big picture. Let in the healing!
I always remind myself: United we stand, Divided we fall.
Beautiful as always Adam. Thank you. <3 You have Chiron's healing hoof and heart :) you've been a wonderful guide in helping us understand how to dig for that alchemical light that’s being hidden as you so wisely say,
“We feel vindicated because the experience we have online validates our feelings, but we forget that hidden algo’s have also crafted this perspective for us, keeping us trapped in the chamber.”
As long as we’re all trapped, we’re unable to see all the light trying to push through and that light will change us all in a profound way. As ACIM so beautifully says, “Your fear of attack is nothing compared to your fear of love.”
