The Chiron Return

The 2nd Chiron return for the United States of America came just days after the red wave. The first was on that smokey day of 4.20 and the last of this cycle will come in February. Yes, it does indeed show a moment of healing that is occurring—whether you reject it or not, it’s happening to us; and we don’t even need to be there to feel it.
It was a clear and unbelievably powerful rejection of what the left has to offer these days. For some reason, the majority of people don’t seem to want more of the past four years. Censorship, inflation, being called racists or harbingers or misinformation, and, of course, wokism were voted out. Joy wasn’t convincing the majority. They wanted fundamental change. Something radically different. And even though the Red King has already had one term, this one presents a major shift from the previous. For those who would have voted for Tulsi, because they are sick of the military-industrial complex and the forever wars, she now stands with him; for those who want to be healthier and to gut big pharma would have voted for RFK jr, but he too now stands with him; and even though Elon wasn’t running, there are many who stand with Elon and the free speech debate, and well, he too was abandoned by the left and also stands with the Red King. For most voters, they just wanted a radical shift back to normalcy—they wanted to be “unburdened by what has been,”
This all relates to Chiron for a couple of reasons. It’s often the case during a major Chiron transit, we feel like we’ve reached the end of the rope. We know we cannot go on any longer like this and thus it triggers a healing crisis. I don’t need to make a case for this one. I think we all know that Americans are among the most unhealthy populations on the planet. This is where MAHA steps in and tries to change this. Chiron transits also bring forward teachers and the information needed for us to actually break free of what we are suffering from. Even if you completely reject everything from the side that won, there will still be voices you will find in the coming years that will help. The censorship campaign is coming to an end, and this is a good thing.
One of the most important parts of Chiron’s story relates to his father. He was born half horse because, at the moment of Saturn’s orgasm, he was caught inside Philyra by his wife and turned himself into a horse to gallop away from Rhea’s wrath. When Chiron was born 9 months later, his father wasn’t there to raise him—nor was his mother (read more on this HERE). Yet, he survived and even thrived. With the help of a couple of luminaries and not holding onto the grudge, he found his status as the greatest healer in the ancient world in due time. He could have perpetuated the sins along his patriarchal line, but he chose not to. He let it go. He moved on. He learned and decided to teach instead of preach. Most importantly, he didn’t fall into the victim trap. In so many ways, this is the essence of the Chiron work. For the US and for all of us, we should pay close attention to his example.

Elias says, “Calling attention to yourself, making a show of things, demonstrating a path to follow. Strongly urging that others move in the directions you are initiating.” It’s a degree that sets an example. The Founding Fathers did, and inspired many generationsn that followed, but it seems most have no idea of what they even wrote in that radical Declaration. These “Fathers” weren’t perfect, yet they set into motion one of the greatest experiments of governance the world has ever seen.
This return is also found in the 5th house in the Whole Sign Sibly chart; it’s a stage—Chiron at the center of it. During the first two returns, the world watched a senile leader bumble his way into his strange exit. We then watched a wild campaign of Joy vs “Hitler,” and….well, “Hitler” won. I suppose when Joy labels their opponent to be the reincarnation of the worst man of the 20th century, it doesn’t quite work as planned. It backfires instead. The vitriol and hateful rhetoric exists on both sides, yet it seems one is more based in reality than the other. Still, it must stop. It’s not helping anybody…except, I suppose getting ‘the enemy” elected.

Not only is this “chironic” it’s also a bit insane. Objectively, he has never said he plans on implementing a federal ban. It’s back to the States. Both are crazy in my opinion, yet it’s where it lies; women have a right to choose, and the “state” should stay far away from such issues, but it’s seemingly the best compromise at present. Adding to this hysteria, the lies and the gaslighting of the left seem to also be a major reason for the landslide. He’s clearly not Hitler and he doesn’t seem to have any plans to summon a version of The Handmaid’s Tale in his term. This fantasy created the red wave. But we shall see, maybe over half of America is dead wrong. We shall see. But I doubt it.
It’s all to say, this all provides a perfect moment to heal. The US in many ways, sets the tone for much of the culture in the world; this election affects much more than Americans. If you feel victim to the results or the truth of such matters, there is healing to be done. If you feel pompous about the results, there is healing to be done. Most importantly when it comes to Chiron work, when we are actually doing it, it’s when we take complete ownership of the way we feel and hold ourselves back from projecting it onto others. My prayer is that this is the beginning of the end of the great divide we’ve watched play out over the past decade. I hope such prayers are heard. Because it’s been exhausting. May we all be “unburdened by what has been,” and learn from Chiron how to not only heal those father wounds, but to accept reality as well.
…even though his parents abandoned him, he still went on to marry and have kids of his own. He never tried to shoot his father or abstain from women because of what his mother did. There are lessons in that.

I respect what you have written here, Adam. You clearly explained how the Chiron return of the US is manifesting in a country divided.
I went through my Chiron return two years ago, and in many ways, I’m still in the shadow of the lessons. Speaking from my own experience, until you go through it, you cannot predict how you will feel or what wounds come to light. You may think you are a pretty well-evolved soul, having lived 50 years and been through many relationships and experiences that have brought you wisdom. Yet, it’s that very thing ~ the belief you have made it to a certain level, the complacency, the ignorance, the innocence ~ that is at the core of the pain Chiron elicits. The pain is poignant and somehow perfect because it splits you open and exposes the wound so completely you have no chance to escape or to look away, to utilize any of your well-worn survival techniques… the only way through, is to face the wound that’s been there all along.
And then come the teachers; and you enter into the lessons - oh man! They are hard lessons! Chiron in Aries holds a mirror up to you and asks, Who are you, truly? In the US chart Chiron asks, Who are We as a Nation? What foundation was our country built upon that we aspire to grow from? Everyone can probably agree that we desire freedom to be who we want to be.
Herein lies our growing pains. Here is our wound, laid bare.
I appreciate the courage it takes to speak from your heart, out into the world, Adam. All of us, who read your words, week after week, get to receive the lessons you so generously give. And that’s it - you write from your heart and, near as I can tell, from a Mercurial perspective that is highly aware of how delicate the nature of our psyches can be. What I read here, was your acknowledgment of the Chiron Wound the United States is experiencing. Your thoughts are medicine offered to a wounded country. You did not ask for our compliance. You simply placed the medicine down for anyone to accept or deny it.
We do have the last exact hit of Chiron coming in February. From my time with the Healer, it was this last pass that was the bitterest pill of all the medicines I was offered. And I had to accept it, before true healing could begin. .. and I’m still learning.
all of this Adam!! quite refreshing to hear this take...I feel a new understanding on the Pluto return of the US as well- rather than the certain death of a nation as many projected, Pluto rather asked 248 years later, for all its flaws and work, do you still want it?
