Peaceful Proportions

...On this Venus station & the Full Moon of which she rules

Every 8 years, she finds herself on one of the 5 points that create the beautiful star in the sky; she visits that point 3 times during the retrograde period—2x while direct, 1x while Rx—and it’s all to highlight what’s going on with our relationship to the 1. These numbers are Fibonacci numbers and they—just like the pentagram—reveal the great secret of Logos: Phi, or the Golden Ratio, is not just how life expresses itself, but it’s also what keeps us connected, inspired, and attracted to all that pulls us forward in life. It’s Venus helping us to find reality, which is absolutely beautiful.

Today, Venus stations direct. After her 40-plus day journey crossing between Earth and Sun, she steps off her shell onto the shore, shining bright from the morning sky, and helps us to orient to this fresh cycle in time. We were here in April of 17’ and in 09’, 01’, 93’…etc. Each visit, a further reach of the Fibonacci spiral playing out in our lives. Each spiral is populated by similar themes, familiar faces, ex-lovers, and many unseen frequencies resonating on this same Venus star point. Each of us can find the space between 10 Aries-24 Pisces to make our connections; for the big world, we look back and wonder.

This Venus station seems special. With Saturn, Rahu, Mercury, and even Neptune—the ruler of this seaweed stellium—intimating what’s to come as they all soon march across the Aries point. It feels uniquely qualified for an alignment that can change the world.

This is also happening under Full Moon light. The Libra Full Moon is being powered by the Chiron/Sun connection. I would like to remind you that the US recently experienced its Chiron Return (read more HERE). With all eyes on the Red King, it’s a cheat code in understanding how this is all manifesting collectively. All the Pisces is the confusion; the Aries is the rage; Libra, the desire for justice, but also the longing for peace; and Chiron there who holds the key, wants healing. What is the key to the Chiron work? It relates to what happens when we point a finger and realize how many are pointed back. The key to the Chiron work is radical self-acceptance alongside abolishing any trace of victim mentality. And once the key opens that door, we realize a freedom we never knew possible. When we stop blaming others, something magical happens. It relates to freedom and it invites in healing in a way we never knew possible.

It’s interesting to note that 8 years ago, when we were exactly where we are now with Venus stationing around her Aries/Pisces point, the world was adjusting to the fact the Red King had won. Lots of uncertainty, copious rage, and the Great Divide had begun. Personally, I had never made this connection, but it was definitely in 2017 when I started to notice the Thought Police patrolling my words. It’s when we began to see the rifts begin within our families and friend circles. Both sides stretched further in their directions; the algorithms worked their dark arts, and those who were centric or non-political found themselves somehow on the right without ever changing. Truly perplexing and truly a Venus cycle for the history books. Back then, I never commented on politics. Nowadays, I find it hard not to, but I still despise doing so. There is nothing—and I mean absolutely no-thing—that seems to be accomplished by talking about politics. No minds are ever changed. Only more heat is invited into the head, with new fissures formed between the parties. It’s a perfect way to understand one of the shadows of Aries (rules the head; butting heads).

So if Venus relates to Phi and beauty, why does it all happen this way? Well, funny enough, to many cultures, Venus as a morning star relates to war—and is also masculine. I don’t have a full subscription to this idea, though I do have my theories around the correlation. For example, one of the infamous expressions of Venus Rx is how our ex’s reappear in the strangest of ways. Well, why is that? Is it to taunt us or haunt us about those past battles we fought with each other? Or is it deeper? Perhaps it’s for regulation, to see how far we have grown and spiraled along the Fibonacci of our lives. I think she’s helping us to make peace with the past, seeing the futility in the fighting, showing us we’ve finally healed from that relationship and that we have connected to so much more beauty and meaningful subjects since. We can see how we have grown beautifully. It all comes back to show us how far we’ve come but also to point out the battle wounds. This is why it’s rarely a good idea to fall back into those Rx relationships.

Now, if true, we can also apply this to the mundane world. The Red King one is obvious, but there are examples everywhere. It was a particularly chaotic time in the Middle East in April of 17’ for instance, with major escalations in Syria, marking the first direct U.S. military action against the Syrian government during the Syrian Civil War, dropping MOABs in Afghanistan, and North Korea launching Hwasong-12 ballistic missiles into the Sea of Japan, escalating tensions in the region. A skeptic may say that this isn’t unique, that there are always similar themes in these regions, but if you remember back then, with Trump freshly in power, there was a unique concern that everything was about to spiral out of control. Cool heads prevailed, but the hot heads didn’t go away, and today, they seem to be even hotter this leg of the spiral according to Venus time (again, Aries is the head; and the horns are locked and loaded).

So, what’s the takeaway here? What can we learn from Venus under this Full Moon light. 1. Some things never change; 2. Can we see how we can change—hopefully grow—in relation to many of the themes since 17’; 3. Can we realize that we actually hold the key to our own peaceful proportions in our lives? Blowing up Teslas and debating this material nonstop solves nothing. There is a sphere in which we have an impact, and it’s about the circumference of how far we can toss a rock. It’s best to discover the peaceful proportions in ourselves of how much of this to take in versus how much to put out. Another consideration is how much beauty we are surrounded by. Phi—in the form of Venus—is literally leading the way from morning sky to evening sky; her light is love, and it’s trying to take us Home—always. May we all find that path inside. It’ll never be found out there, only illusions and fantasies that allude to it.

*Fun fact: The heart (Venus) is Phi between the head and navel. That is, it’s .618 from the head to the heart. Some say it’s the longest journey there is from the head to the heart. I would add that it’s the most beautiful one as well.
