There is a moon gate today. If you are not familiar, it’s when the Moon passes on by Venus in the sky—it happens 7 times in the morning and 7x in the evening. If my calculations are correct, this is the 5th in the morning sky. It happens in Sagittarius. And once through the gate, we next find Ceres and Mercury still following his inverted shoeprints through the post-shadow. Hanging on the gate reads: Can you speak what you believe?
I want to say that it’s sad we live in a world where we can’t actually fully disclose our beliefs without serious consequences, but I think it’s always been this way. Even writing about what I do here on Substack easily would have gotten me tarred, feathered, and set aflame not too far into the past. It is different now though. We thought we had it (free speech that is). But sneakily, it was taken; sneakily, there are even those who say we never really had it. It’s strange and the effect it has on our voices comes with a choking sensation. It happened fast.
Supposedly, this here moon-gate pertains to the 5th chakra (please, correct me if I have this wrong; I’m no expert on the gates). It’s the energy center of the throat. So we can see why ‘the sign’ reads the way it does.
I continue to see people get braver in this department though. It gives me hope. But then I hear the stories of the aftermath at times. I see them get downranked, disowned, and completely discredited. It’s not healthy. We need an outlet for our truth. Because if we don’t, it festers and slowly breeds strange beings within us. It’s an eternal battle, one that this Venus/Moon ‘gate’ seems to open up.
Related, but not within the same stream of ‘voice,’ is learning how to speak about what we see in a chart. It’s by far the steepest learning curve I’ve witnessed in my career. It’s not easy to find the words to string together cohesive images that point to the heart of what we are seeing. It takes time. One of the ways I have always found great practice in learning how to do this is through aspects. Once we understand the geometries of the conversation between planets, a clear gestalt emerges; it’s easier to find our voice in regards to what it may mean in the chart. Aspects are the glue—or thread—which brings together the complexity of the energy into a coherent metaphor. They are essential for our cosmic syntax to make any sense at all.

The gates always confuse me too... is it the first visible conjunction starting from the crown in which case there is usually an extra gate somewhere along the way to the underworld, even amongst astute Venus devotees there seems to be variations always... I've found it hard to track honestly except I do observe the "catch and release" nature of the morning star cycle and this seems to fit the narrative of that Venus moon gate system, and indeed the moon conjunctions seem to be palpable landmarks along the way... the humbling nature of the seekers quest, quite a different alchemy to the evening star ascent.

I think Venus is in a descent from
Morningstar Leo - so the 5th gate of descent is the heart chakra gate - unless I’m mistaken ♥️
