“Just breathe and reclaim your soul.”
― Wim Hof
Every six months, we find ourselves between eclipses. Some call it the ‘eclipse portal’ or the ‘Eclipse Season Interstice’, I prefer the Dragonhole. It’s a time of plot twists. Whatever the narrative was going in, often is completely inverted by the other side of it. They are never boring.
The season began with the Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo, which was witnessed for much of the world outside of Asia and the Middle East. The narrative going in was laden with fear and uncertainty around Trump’s tariffs and the chaos being churned up by DOGE. On the day of the eclipse, the nearly month-long sell-off in markets was met with a hopeful bounce—which has sustained since. Even if you could care less about markets, they are still one of the best litmus tests for collective sentiment. The FUD that created recession fears saw its first break in the clouds. It doesn’t mean it’s over, though. With one more week to go until the Solar Eclipse, there is still a lot that can happen. The Red King and the Dogefather are unpredictable beasts. But one thing is for sure: the plot will have twisted and turned. Will it be the end of the two wars? Another attempt on their lives? An interest rate cut? More evidence of what’s going on beneath the pyramids? We shall see…
The first stand-out feature of the upcoming eclipse is that it occurs on the exact degree we explored in my last piece, talking about the Venus/Mercury conjunction (HERE). Visiting the Chandra symbol again might be helpful:
ARIES 9
A fat man in a state of reverie smoking a hookah.
…offering a glimpse of the animus of so many poor souls. Perhaps normal on the outside, a Harkennan-esque blob sits within as the Netflix binge continues with a spliff still burning in the ashtray. Or it’s the curse of abundance. The arrogance of ‘having it all’ and escaping with the questionable drugs into Neptune’s liminal spaces. It’s an image of David Goggins before he started calling himself a bitch. It’s an image of one of the deadly sins. It shows the secret state of reverie which is a burning ember ready to be blown on and turned into flame. In other words, it’s pure inspiration! Nobody aspires to be this man, yet too many are. And there are no shortcuts out of it. No jabs, no pills, just movement and hard work.
Whenever the Sun moves into Aries there is a boost of motivation to be found—especially if you are a Northern Hemisphere human. Toss in two retrogrades (Venus/Mercury), Neptune moving in, followed by Saturn, with all the eclipses of the year hovering around it, we can understand why I used a Wim Hof quote to start out this burst of thoughts. Said another way: We have the energy available to make that change we’ve been putting off for years. Hint: it’s usually physical. Another hint: Mars rules Aries and Mars rules iron.
In Brady’s book on Predictive Astrology, she talks about the Saros Series for this eclipse in a similar manner. She writes,:
S.S. 9 New North
Starts: August 21, 1664, 9:12:03 GMT North PoleEnds: September 18, 2908
This is a very physically expressive Saros Series. Accidents, great physical effort, violence or any sudden physical events. These can be experienced positively as, for example, the first time snow-skiing…”
“1917, 1935, 1953, 1971, 1989, 2007, 2025, 2043”
…reflecting on the previous years this Saros was active will be helpful. Look for resonating themes coming full circle. For me, Spring of 07’ was the beginning of my studies into Astrology and now, after practicing it for 16 years, I feel I’m at an exciting crossroads with it. I felt a lot of uncertainty for my future back then, and I feel that now. It’s a fruitful darkness happening in my 8th house…(and all other Virgo rising folk)
The optimistic translation is that we get inspired and channel this excess fire into something productive in our bodies; the black pill take is how it manifests politically. Will more Teslas burn? Will more people die unnecessarily as geopolitics cascade? It’s hard to tell, but again, it’s best to focus on finding that spark within, not on the wick of a Molotov cocktail.
If you find eclipse season confusing or hard to track, you’re not alone. Eclipses are anomalies. When you bring concepts like ‘eclipse families’ (ie. the Saros) or the complexities of duration/effect into the equation, it’s turtles all the way down. That’s why I try to keep it simple. The Dragonhole creates plot twists and inverts narratives. Our job is to notice what that is in our own lives before we get lost in understanding it for the world. As always, though, it’s never boring. Eclipses are the perfect reminder of something Unknown, yet Unbelievable behind all of this. When you meditate on the nature of eclipses it’s impossible not to be bullish on the forever potential of consciousness and what humans are capable of.

Another great article. Loved the reference to the history of Saros cycles now taking place. I noticed a nice correlation. Every second one (1917, 1953, and 1989 and now) happen with the 36-year Saturn/Neptune conjunction, This also correlates with the implosion of the Russia government. I wouldn't have put these three things together (I had put two of them together) without your blog at this time. Thank you for tha, Adamt. Raymond Merriman
Nice dragon art work!
