Hacking away at the past season’s old and dying shrubbery has me all warmed up for Mars work. 😉

That’s a captivating image!

Great stuff as usual, Adam--you make it look, er, read, so easy!

Anyway, as someone with a Mars/Neptune conjunction in early Sagittarius, pondering the mixture of these two archetypes has been a reasonably steady inquiry for me, and you really captured the imaginative spiritual warrior sense that I often wrestle with.

Speaking from experience, the higher expression of Mars/Neptune is acting from a deep place of universal love and feeling fueled by really tapping into that energy, but the lower expression is inaction and lack of focus, Mars' energy spread so wide and thin by Neptune's All-Encompassing Nature that it doesn't accomplish anything.

Those are just the words that came out of me this time around. Anyway, thanks for bringing to my awareness that the Cazimi makes this Neptunian aspect, so I can tap into it a bit more over the transit.

Well well, being that you have it, these are moments to get great insight into how to harness it strategic ways; happy to hear that there was resonance with it for you. An ideal image (which also relates to many who actually...) are big wave surfers. I have a folder in Solar Fire of surfers and many of them have Mars/Neptune aspects that are close. Love it.. So helpful to ground a metaphor.

I do have a seemingly never ending supply of shrubbery that needs trimming, but that gets really tiresome after a while :) Do you have any other recommendations for some "inside" rituals conducive to sparking aphaeresis ?

mmm, well, with all that is trimmed from that shrubbery, having a good, good fire (ideal when solo) to spend time with the sky and ground. Perfect situation for the Mars/Neptune dreaming imo.

that would be something good, but unfortunately way too dry in my area for that kind of outside ritual - red flag warnings, etc ... It's probably going to become compost - which doesn't seem all that "Marsy" :)

compost is incredibly 'marsy!' when seen through the Scorpio lens!
