The spaces between eclipses are always interesting. Plot twists, reach-arounds from the past and future, and even sudden deaths (more research needs to be done here). They are never boring.
For me, here in the Shire, it began with my partner leaping from the bed in a night fright (Scorpio SN) and shattering a rib that found its way into her lung. It’s been slow and heavy since. And out there in the world, it’s Elon, hammers, and election time. Mars’ station has punched the dial into code red. With the chasm growing larger by the day between the left and right, it’s nearly impossible to get the news straight down the middle. In the Dragon Hole, I’ll do my best to shoot between extreme peaks.
In just two days, we will experience the eclipse to close out this season and mark the final one of 22’ in the books. It will be in Taurus. It will be lunar. And it will be on the same degree as Uranus. It’s an eclipse like we’ve never experienced before. Novelty, technological implications, speed, uncertainty, and excitement shudder all around the dragon’s head as we get pulled into it. The question we all should be asking is: Where is this critical upgrade needing to happen? (hint: it’s near 16º of Taurus).

There have been many memorable moments since Elon’s takeover of Twitter. At the top of the list has got to be this:
These two clowns pretended to be axed by Elon and trolled the corporate media. Not only did they cover it, but so many fell for it. Being I still have my teenage humor intact, unfortunately, I laughed out loud immediately. Say what you want about Elon, yet one thing you cannot say is that he’s lacking in a sense of humor, and he clearly inspires it in his loyal followers. Dick jokes have got to fall under the surveillance of Mars, no?
Speaking of Mars (and surveillance )…
Now that the retrograde is underway, the information wars are to be expected to flare up in scary ways once again. A recent piece from The Intercept reported on the DHS (Dept. of Homeland Security) and their sneaky alliance with big tech. It’s a worthy read:
And if you thought we had it bad in the West with all the undercover ops, have a recent look over at China. I’m not sure what Mars is called in Chinese, but I’m certain there have been many poor prisoners of the state waving their fists at the red eye in the sky:
Along the same line of plot twists and Mars-goaded trigger points, many are warning of violence around midterms this week. I wouldn’t be surprised. Being there is a red wave predicted (without martian context), I’m sure the blue cities across the US may experience even deeper blues, than the other color. Or not. Plot twists, remember?
Now, to quickly escape my least favorite subject (politics) and enter into my favorite (stories), the legendary book Shantaram has recently been made into a TV series. Even though it doesn’t capture the spiritual dynamics of Mr. Robert’s book, it’s still well done. I’ve been enjoying it immensely. I plan on another read as well. It’s a study of the spiritual awakenings possible with Mars; from prison to Mumbai into a life of crime, somehow spirit always finds a way. It’s also a good Saturn return tale. Give it a try:

Bitcoin just had a birthday. On Halloween night, the world’s biggest crypto turned 14. On Oct. 31st of 2008, as Pluto was bouncing back n’ forth between Capricorn and Sag and the Great Financial Crisis was underway, Satoshi released his White Paper. We don’t have the time for this release (if you do, please share) and it’s also not the chart we usually look at (we usually look at the genesis block in Jan) but it’s still an intriguing chart:
That 8º Scorpio Sun is the same as Chris Brennan’s and my Moon. I like that degree. The Chandra: A SIX FINGERED HAND! Mysterious. Also, this upcoming eclipse will square the Nodes-both in this chart, and the genesis block chart.
Bitcoin has also caught a bid since the FOMC meeting on Tuesday. Powell raised rates again by 75 points, and even though the markets reeled immediately, they seem to be riding on the plot twist train and borrowing some ‘fuck you energy’ from Mars. The markets seem to not care anymore. At least for now. We shall see what the next eclipse on Tuesday brings. If price can close above 25k, bear market over; If it breaks beneath 20k, it could be a swan dive to new lows. Enjoy the lows while they are here.
And if you think you missed the boat with Bitcoin, just have a look at this infographic:
Bitcoin also responds well to the Moon. New Moons are often local tops in price action, Full Moons are bottoms. Unless we are in eclipses season, then everything is out the window. In the chart below, each candle relates to 12 hrs of price action. It’s the range BTC has been caught in since June. Study the Moons. Where to next?

As I mentioned before, eclipses always seem to be a time when there’s an uptick in people choosing to go. It’s wild. It’s a portal thing. And one of my favorite musicians, who was my age, just stepped into the light:

And that’ll do it. I hope you got something from this Dragon Hole. Again, this is an experimental idea. It’s going to change a lot I imagine. But for now, this is its form. Feedback is welcome.
Your partner! That’s one of the biggest, awful WTFs. Is full recovery on the way?
Aww Low Roar 🥺
