The Idea:
Something has been cooking in me for some time. Over the past few years, I’ve been devouring content both online and off. Online, it’s clear that there’s nothing quite like a good Substack. Some of my favorite writers and journalists have taken to the medium and I’ve found it surprisingly nourishing (you can see who I follow on here). Offline, it’s been lots of fiction and when stepping back into reality with non-fiction, I’ve been taking in subjects not like me: economics, history, and, of course, Bitcoin (which is like me). It’s been an exciting education. A catching up. And as a writer, I’ve been patiently waiting to pounce on the inspiration for what was to come next. This may be it.
I can’t make any grandiose commitments at this point, aside from doing my best to show up once a week to write on here. I also can’t promise it will be good. But I do have some ideas popping like corn in my mind. The Dragon Hole will be like the rabbit one, just more interesting. At least that’s the prayer.
The main idea is for this to be a weekly look back, peek forward sort of publication with an astrological foundation. News, memes, funny tweets, interesting transit stories, and another place to link you to all my other creations like the podcast and my longer pieces.
I don’t plan on charging for it. Though, if it catches a strong breeze, it may inspire me to write more, which could be paid content in the future. Also, you can always support my work over on Patreon and take your astrological learning more seriously as well (www.patreon.com/adamsommer).
That’s all for now. If intrigued, please subscribe. And if you are ever thinking it is a good idea, you can share it around with some friends as well.
I’ll leave you with this:
(One of my favorite Mars Rx (pre-shadow) stories thus far; #freethebird)
Fun to read your posts. Please consider whether your readers can understand you...e.g., if you refer to Chiron, then define what that means in a few words. Same with any other somewhat technical language. Much easier on your readers.
Nice to see ya here on Substack!
