My sextile is across the 8th-10th. But better is this... I turned 65 exactly a month ago. The morning of my 65th birthday, I had a dream in which I was with my sister at a ceremony where there was this guy who had a blanket on which he was offering an array of different drugs. I was trying them all (of course🤨), but none of them were doing anything. So I said to the guy, "I want the ones that make you feel extremely sober and alert". The next thing I knew, I was out of bed and on my way to the kitchen. It was as if I didn't wake up. The dream was seamless with being awake (and alert!). Then I remembered the dream and started laughing because I was feeling exactly as if I'd ingested something that did exactly as I'd requested. The funny thing was, I had been up late the night before finishing up a few things so I could go away for the weekend and had gone to bed thinking, "I don't want to be tired and groggy on my birthday". The best part however, was that it stuck. It's like it wasn't a dream, but a download. And now everything is different and everything is the same. I'm still the same person with the same "stuff", because of course. It's just that there's no escaping the awareness of it all. So that was my 65th birthday present from the universe.

What an interesting way to take the sober pill or would you call it the alert pill? What's your name for it? I love that it's stuck for you as well. This is good Camie. This is good. It's what I'm referring to with this sextile. Great story for it
I’m not sure it was a pill. It was more like an IV infusion. One minute I was asleep in my bed and the next I was “extremely sober and alert” just as I had asked - the neptunian fog I usually wake up in (I’m not a morning person) was just gone. And it was funny and exhilarating and a very joyful experience, but the ongoing clarity isn’t necessarily all those things. I hadn’t thought about it in terms of the sextile though until I read this! That sextile is now 1st-3rd, which is very much a match for it.
I feel an extra resonance with this current sextile because I’m of the Pluto in Libra (Air) and Neptune in Sagittarius (Fire) generation of the 1970s, so I love your call to write (Air) and dream (Fire) and to write from our place of dreaming.
Interestingly, for the past several months, I made it a priority to give more time and attention to my dream life and these days, I have mind-and-soul expanding dreams every night.
Perhaps my next step is to better record them and maybe even write from them.
I have this aspect natally. Pluto and moon in Leo in 7th sextile mercury conjunct neptune in libra in the ninth. Currently dreaming of being in another land.

At my birth, my Pluto (29Cap) and Neptune (1 Aries) right next to my Ascendant 29 Scorpio are making a mystic triangle with my descendant and Pluto Polarity Point (29 Pisces). The interesting thing about my progressed Pluto is not only has it stationed retrograde, it's also gone back over it's original degree at age 45!

"Atmosphere" - brilliant way to forward a bit of Rudhyar. I've been using "background radiation" when talking of their 10-20 year in-orb septile, but it's even more relevant for the long sextile. Best contextualization of the conjunction I've yet read.

My sextile was exact too, forming a yod within a degree to the mars Uranus conjunction point we had a few days ago. Currently in a prolonged square to the native formation (both planets). It’s always nice to hear others are also seeing what I’m seeing. Thank you!

I would say both, for sure. Start with the current, being that's it's active, and ease yourself deeper into understanding it natally. Understanding mine has completely changed my life.
